Noog Weekly is a small Chattanooga newsletter. We collect only what we need to send the newsletter, understand basic site performance, and reply to people who contact us.

What we collect

Email subscriptions: your email address, signup source, referral code if present, and basic delivery metadata needed to send Noog Weekly.
Nominations or messages: the information you choose to submit, such as a business name, contact details, or notes about a local owner we should interview.
Basic site analytics: page views and lightweight event data so we can see what pages work and what needs fixing.

How we use it

We use subscription information to send Noog Weekly, manage unsubscribe requests, prevent duplicate signups, and improve the reader experience. We use nominations and replies to evaluate possible interviews and sponsorship fit.

We do not sell subscriber lists. Sponsors may be clearly labeled in the newsletter, but they do not get the subscriber list from us.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter email should include an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] with “unsubscribe” and we will remove you manually.

Third-party services

Noog Weekly may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, forms, analytics, and operational tooling. Those services process data only so the site and newsletter can function.
